I’m working on this painting at the moment, of the sunrise one winter morning, when the sky was fleetingly golden. I am often transfixed by the light effects of the sun on the houses across the road from where I live, ordinary yet extra-ordinary. My intention is to create a deeply calm, meditative world into which the viewer and I can become immersed.
